My Mission Statement
I will fiercely love and encourage those around me. I will consistently celebrate and fearlessly embrace opportunities and challenges that arise. God has placed me where I am for a purpose - I am the girl for the job.
I challenged myself to create this mission statement at the beginning of 2021 as I was developing goals for the year. Want to know more about my mission statement? Check out my blog post! |
Hello! I'm Mary Grace. I'm glad you're here.
I'm Mary Grace Watson, a recent graduate the University of Georgia. I have a masters degree in integrated advertising and public relations (December 2022). I received my undergraduate degree in December 2021. I majored in public relations and minored in human development and family sciences. When I'm not working, you can find me learning a new song on my guitar, reading a trendy book, or cheering on the Dawgs in any sport! Some of my current obsessions are music from Taylor Swift, sweet tea, and working out at Crunch Athens.
This spring, I am working as a graphic design and public relations graduate assistant for the Archway Partnership at the University of Georgia. I am learning so much about real world public relations and public outreach, and I am so excited to put this new knowledge to use in my future career. Feel free to check out my resume below to learn more about my past and current work experiences. I am currently looking for a full-time role in the Athens, GA area in my field. What People Say About Me
Mary Grace is one of the rare ones, who we as employers wish we could duplicate, that has a natural ability to relate to people and connect with them even in difficult situations. I recall a time where Mary Grace was the level headed one in the room when I was having a slight panic over an event we were planning. Something had gone a little pear shaped and in the moment I couldn't see a way around it. Mary Grace was quick to offer a solution." Mary Grace was a team leader for my Public Relations Campaigns course, in which the students are in one big group working on a semester-long project strategizing an actual, thorough, detailed campaign plan for a real client. Mary Grace was a tremendous leader. She was an absolute pleasure to have in the class, was impressively organized, and able to tackle a tremendously challenging and demanding course with amazing talent and ultimately provided a successful product to the client thanks in large part to her tireless leadership of the other students in her group." |
