Graphic Design
This course was a graphic design course that taught the basic principles of graphic design. In this folder, I have some of my work from the course including social media graphics, a magazine cover, and an ad redesign.
I worked for Jill Stringfellow for multiple years, doing social media and graphic design work. This folder has samples of my work for her including photo albums, Christmas cards, graduation announcements, and social media posts.
These are different graphics that I've designed for committee heads in my sorority, Sigma Alpha Omega. Most of them are designed to fit an iPhone Instagram story for social media posting. The buttons were made to go on backpacks and to be worn at football games.
This was one of my first big graphic design projects. I designed the marketing materials for the Ag Marketing Team at my school. I created a brochure, collapsible display, and posters for their presentation. Their marketing presentation received first place at state competition and silver at national competition.
Social MediaMany of my posts for Paige Fuller are internal communication - sending messages to her team or sharing graphics that they can use to help promote their business or group events. All of these graphics were shared in Facebook groups. Many were paired with countdowns to events in her personal Mary Kay group to get customers excited for the next event. I also included her binder I designed that she uses to have conversations with potential consultants.
When Covid-19 caused business as usual to come to a halt` across America, Ochlockonee Ridge Farms had a field full of strawberries to sell. I was in my hometown for quarantine and was quickly recruited to be the social media coordinator. Through our Facebook promotions, we reached audiences across southwest Georgia and northwest Florida. This folder features some posts I created during the strawberry picking season.
For the holiday season, Cranford's wanted to have a renewed social media presence. When they contacted me, one of their biggest needs was consistency in posting. We developed a plan that involved posting 12 unique posts per week that showcased products in the store. One of the biggest challenges for this project was living in Athens while posting for the store in Moultrie. I learned a lot about keeping consistent communication with in store employees and working remotely.
